Position Purpose:

To support client teams by producing quality work that is completed on time and consistent with Rasor Marketing Communications mission and values

Position Duties may include:

Client responsibilities-

  • Research, write and edit content/copy for a wide variety of client projects (i.e., collateral materials, websites, news releases, blogs)

  • Create content for PowerPoint presentations

  • Assist in conducting comprehensive marketing and communication audits, including competitive and collateral review; assist in compiling summary report

  • Assist in the implementation of marketing and public relations plans including creating monthly client dashboards and summary reports

  • Draft and distribute press releases and conduct media follow up; proactively pitch story/thought leadership ideas to appropriate media outlets (broadcast, trade publications, online, etc.)

  • Monitor, analyze and create media coverage reports

  • Understand and support social media strategies for clients

Agency responsibilities-

  • Draft blogs on a regular basis for posting on the Rasor site

  • Engage in agency social media efforts to help build SEO (twitter, comment on and/or re-post blogs, etc.)

  • Undertake research for new business proposals

Skills/Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in marketing/communications

  • College degree in marketing, communications or compatible field

  • Ability to manage multiple client workloads (generally ranging from 2 – 5 clients at a time)

  • Creative thought; exceptional writing skills; familiarity with AP Style

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel

  • An understanding of social media including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn

  • Ability to work extremely well as a member of a team
