Position: Site Manager Public Relations & Communications
The Site Manager of Public Relations and Community Relations must have experience with public relations activity and community relations for their hospital site and for the health system as appropriate. In addition, candidate will work closely with System Support to provide counsel and deliverables to the executives of the health system in both public and community relations, media relations and crisis communication.
Education: Bachelor’s degree required in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or other related field.
Experience: 10 years’ experience in journalism, health or education institutional marketing with at least five years in a progressively responsible management position including experience in community relations, public relations, internal communications, media relations and crisis communications.
Skills/Other: He/she must display strong skills in human relations, with the ability to deal sensitively with hospital personnel and the public. He/she must have excellent language skills, written and oral, and technical skills
