You’ve been a member of PRSA for a little while, and now you’re looking for a way to get more involved – right? Then joining the 2014 Media Day committee is perfect for you!
Media Day is an annual PRSA event that provides industry professionals with the opportunity to learn from some of the best and brightest PR pros and local media members in the Greater Cincinnati region. It’s a day filled with timely and topical panel discussions, keynote speakers and networking opportunities galore. And, of course, it’s followed up with an evening happy hour to mingle and network with new and old friends.
Last year was a blast for all those who attended. This year, we’re looking to mix things up a bit, and we need a strong committee of creative minds to help us make the event better than ever.
How do you get involved?
To become part of the media day committee, email co-chairs Stephanie Vermillion (firstname.lastname@example.org) and Ashley Moran (Ashley.Moran@uc.edu) with a short paragraph of why you want to get involved. Once you are part of the committee, there will be opportunities to help with initiatives such as:
- Event Logistics
- Happy Hour Logistics
- Content Management/Event Promotions
- Media Relations
What are the benefits?
Along with your commitment to the Media Day committee, you will receive one free ticket to the event. In addition, you will have the opportunity to network and learn with new people who have similar interests.
