What Would a New an Improved Twitter Look Like? Well, Here’s a Sneak Peek

Has Twitter hit its peak?  According to analysts, it hasn’t seen the growth that was initially expected.  Facebook still reigns almighty in the world of social media, with nearly four times the number of users when compared to Twitter.  The problem seems to be that those who have been Twitter users for years love it, but newcomers have a hard time trying to figure it all out.  The solution? A makeover.  The new design is said to be “easier (and, we think, more fun) way to express yourself through a new and improved web profile,” according to Twitter designer David Bellona in his introductory blog

This new design is not yet public, but you can get a preview by checking out some of your favorite high-profile users, like @kerrywashington and @channingtatum.  Do you think this new change will boost the number of Twitter users? How do you think it will improve the communication between your existing publics?
