Save the date - PRSA Media Day 2014

2014 Media Day

It's that time of the year and the 2014 Media Day committee is excited to announce a brand new venue– and some other updates – for this year's Media Day!

Want to attend? Here's what you need to know:

On October 14, communications professionals will learn about new trends in marketing, public relations, communications, branding and more while enjoying the scenic views at our new venue – the Horseshoe Casino

The event will focus on topics such as reputation management, content strategy and the convergence of media. And we're planning a slightly different format than years past, which we hope will offer something for everyone, from new to seasoned industry pros. Stay tuned for more details, but, if you have speaker or panel ideas in the meantime, please reach out to Ashley Moran (ashleyrmoran@gmail.com) or Stephanie Vermillion (svermillion@wordsworthweb.com).

Media Day will be followed by a happy hour downstairs at one of the Horseshoe’s fine restaurants. More happy hour details will come soon.

If you're interested in being a Media Day sponsor, please contact Chris Hoffman (choffman@wordsworthweb.com) or Molly Yeager Broadwater (molly.yeager@rumpke.com) for packages and opportunities.

Continue monitoring PRSA Visions and the PRSA Cincinnati social media accounts for updates on registration, speaker announcements, event news and more.

We look forward to seeing you at the Horseshoe on Tuesday, Oct. 14!

SIMEngage Social Media Conference Brings Renowned Speakers to Cincinnati

More than 300 marketers are expected to gather at Memorial Hall on May 15th for one of the Midwest’s largest social media and internet marketing events. Experts from Google, Cafepress, and Hubspot, along with some of the region’s premier social media experts will keynote the first SIMEngage conference.

SIMEngage (www.simengage.com) is expected to attract marketers from around the Midwest, including those from big brands, advertising agencies and small businesses. The event is co-sponsored by Cleriti, BrandHUB and InfoTrust, and will provide attendees with information on social media and Internet marketing, as well as extensive networking opportunities.

Event organizers at Boot Camp Digital, part of Cincinnati’s massive digital community, wanted to bring a national-level event to the area:

“Midwest area marketers shouldn’t have to travel to the coasts to learn from the industry’s thought-leaders. We have one of the largest digital marketing communities in the U.S. right here in Cincinnati and we’re excited to bring industry-leading experts into the region for this event.”

The action-packed schedule combines 5 keynote speakers and panels filled with some of the most incredible minds in social media and internet marketing. The topics include:

  • Creating and Leveraging Killer Content

  • The Intersection of Search + Social

  • Generating Publicity through Social Media

  • Analytics and Future Trends

  • Connecting Paid, Earned and Owned

SIMEngage has made VIP boxes available to companies interested in bringing 5+ employees to the event, as well as booths and sponsorship packages. PRSA is a proud partner of the conference, so you can get $50 off your registration when you select PRSA from the drop-down menu. Register for the event today at http://simengage.com
