Are you looking for an opportunity to learn from Cincinnati’s public relations and communications thought leaders...?
...to network with the best and the brightest marketing and PR pros in town?
...to drink up knowledge from Absolut vodka’s vice president of PR, events and lifestyle marketing?
This full-day conference will take place Oct. 14, 2014, at the Horseshoe Casino in downtown Cincinnati (parking is free).
At this year’s Media Day, you can choose from two of four panel sessions and participate in roundtable discussions with PR pros to discuss industry trends. In addition, you’ll hear from Jeffrey Moran of Pernod Ricard USA about what it takes to survive and thrive as a PR professional in a landscape that is ever-changing.
Here’s a sneak peak at insights you can glean from PRSA Media Day 2014.
Leveraging Convergence of Earned, Owned and Paid Media
This panel will explore how your brand can effectively plan and leverage all available media options in our constantly-evolving industry.
Reputation Management 24/7/365
Brands must constantly foster and further their reputations, not just in response to crisis. This panel will share how brands can proactively maintain and improve reputations every day.
Media Relations Tips from Notable Media Members (Media Panel)
In this panel, six local media members will share how to best work with the media, including legacy and online, in today’s fast-paced world. Discussion will include pitching tips, research options, how to follow-up, what makes a story newsworthy, how to make your brand newsworthy, etc. This replaces the Media Roundtables from previous Media Day conferences.
Content Marketing: Beyond the Buzz Word
Content marketing is a buzz word in the PR and marketing worlds, but how can different brands strategize and use it correctly? This panel will shed light on content marketing benefits and how large and small businesses across all industries can plan and implement a successful content strategy.
Mini Sessions (25 minutes each)
Get one-on-one time with some of the city’s best subject matter experts during our new Media Day mini sessions. You and up to 10 other attendees will participate in a 25-minute roundtable discussion about a PR/marketing/social media topic of interest. You will have the chance to participate in two mini session discussions.
