Name: Alison DeFisher
Current position: As manager of communications at Clovernook Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired, I am responsible for the concept and design of all agency publications and marketing collateral, including newsletters, annual reports and brochures. I also manage social networking and media relations.
Previous experience: I previously served as communications and fundraising coordinator at Clovernook Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired and marketing/development specialist at Cincinnati Youth Collaborative.
Education: I graduated from Ohio University with a bachelor’s degree in journalism.

I live in Pleasant Ridge with my husband, Will, and our two dogs. I am originally from Canton, Ohio but moved to Cincinnati five years ago. I like spending time with friends and family, yoga, country music and perusing the local flea markets for treasures!

Current position: I am the PR manager for the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber. I manage media relations, social media and content for Chamber communications.
Previous experience: I was an Emmy-nominated TV news anchor and reporter with WCPO (ABC Channel 9-Cincinnati) for seven years. Prior to coming to Cincinnati, I held the same positions with the Fox TV affiliate in Rochester, NY and the NBC TV affiliate in Hagerstown, MD.
Education: I have a Master of Arts in broadcast journalism from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida. I also have a Bachelor of Arts in corporate communication from Lycoming College in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
