My favorite part of the PRSA Blacksmith Awards

As wonderful as it was to celebrate the awards with regional peers; the judge’s critiques are my favorite part of the PRSA Blacksmith Awards. Unlike most award competitions the PRSA Blacksmith Awards provide the judge’s comments reflective of your performance. These comments are extremely valuable as we continue to grow our public relations services at the Flottman Company.

Having read and reread the reviews, I have seen where a tweak here or a tweak there could have made a big difference in our efforts. I appreciated having industry peers present their opinions and critiques of our PR efforts. Many of the critiques will be helpful not only for our next PRSA Blacksmith competition but for any and all competitions we plan to enter. Additionally, some of the comments can be implemented in future client campaigns, adding extreme value to the award program.

We entered the Cincinnati PRSA awards in an effort to demonstrate the work that we have been doing at Flottman Company for the past year. This has been a great year for the Flottman Company. We’ve not only been awarded the PRSA Blacksmith Award, but were named AMA Marketer of the Year, received two Platinum MARCOM Awards, we were a Cincinnati Small Business of the Year finalist and we received three NAPL Gold Awards for printing and design. The PRSA awards rounds out a year full of PR, advertising and marketing success – thank you.

Congratulations to all the winners and participants in this year’s PRSA Blacksmith Awards and I hope that your critiques serve to inspire you to do even more and better work going forward.
