Members-Only Breakfast with PRSA National CEO & Chair

Eventbrite - Members-Only Breakfast with PRSA National CEO & Chair

Meet National PRSA CEO Joseph Truncale, Ph.D., CAE, and Chair Mark McClennan, APR, at a members-only breakfast program on Thursday, January 14 at the Powerhouse Factories Poster Shop.

The public relations industry is at an inflection point and is undergoing changes more profound than it has since the mid-1990s.

What are 10 trends that will shape our industry in 2016 and beyond? What is PRSA National doing to help its members?

McClennan will make his predictions and also share practical advice for PR professionals on the storms to expect and the winds to harness to propel their careers and their organizations to new destinations.

Further, Truncale will provide an update report from PRSA National, as the status of many of the initiatives discussed at Assembly will merit an update.

In The Heat of a Story: How Journalists and PR pros Can Work Together

Eventbrite - In The Heat of a Story: How Journalists and PR pros Can Work Together

We've seen a number of major news stories break over the past year in Cincinnati. Some were lighthearted and fun, such as the All Star Game and its related festivities. Some were tragic, such as the Tensing/Dubose altercation in July.

In our January program - a joint event between PRSA and the Society of Professional Journalists - a knowledgeable panel of experts will discuss newsroom logistics when covering a breaking news event and shed light onto how journalists and PR professionals can work together to achieve their desired outcomes.

Register now for this exciting program...attendance is limited to 30 people

Panelists include:

Sharon Coolidge, City Hall Reporter, Cincinnati Enquirer
Alex Bongiorno, News Director, WCPO
Jackie Congedo, Public Relations Manager, Jewish Federation of Cincinnati
Pepper Peale, Public Relations Counselor, Vehr Communications

Each attendee will receive one drink ticket, redeemable for one beverage at the bar (beer, wine, soft drinks, and water).
